Before you install FCmobilelife on your BlackBerry Smartphone

Configuring Your BlackBerry Smartphone Device for the Correct Time Zone

You will need to ensure that your BlackBerry Smartphone device is configured in the correct time zone before installation of FCmobilelife. To do this:

1. From the Home screen, click Options
2. From the Options screen, click Date/Time
3. With the Time Zone field already selected, click and and select the desired time zone
4. Press the Menu button and choose Save to save your changes

Real Time Alerts for your BlackBerry Smartphone Device

If you want receive alerts on your phone regarding new and updated actions then you will need to configure the BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) on the BlackBerry device. For details on the BlackBerry Internet Service please click:

If you don't have BIS configured for your phone then please consult your Smartphone documentation or contact your wireless service provider for details on setting up the service.

Once you have the BIS service setup you will need to do the following to enable real time alerts:

1. Log into the FCmobilelife Website

2. Click on Options on the top menu bar
3. Choose the option to receive Alerts on your Blackberry device, enter your Blackberry Mobile Phone Email Address, and select the types of alert notifications that you wish to receive.
4. Click Submit

You are now configured to receive real time notification of the chosen alerts.
